Wahoo

Print

Wahoo 40kg caught on Bite Me , FijiEvery year from June through to October, large packs of wahoo gather along the Great Astrolabe barrier reef. We specialise in hunting wahoo on light tackle.

Trolling lures until we find a pack, we usually then switch to a couple of rigged garfish (ballyhoo) baits.

It is common to get your entire spread mauled in a mass pack attack and wahoo are often seen flying through the air to land on lures.
